Commuter Account
Pay for eligible transit and vanpool expenses from your paycheck on a before-tax basis.

The Commuter Account, administered by Fidelity, offers you both tax-savings and convenience. This benefit lets you pay for eligible transit and vanpool expenses from your paycheck on a before-tax basis.
To participate, you create an account on the Fidelity NetBenefits website and elect an amount up to $340 per month. You can also elect after-tax contributions, and pay for contributions with a credit card. Fidelity will send you a reloadable Commuter Account card when you place your order. You decide how much to load on the card each month, or you can set up a recurring amount to have it done automatically. You can use the card where you pay for transit expenses.
You can enroll or change your Commuter Account elections on the Fidelity NetBenefits website as often as once a month throughout the year. However, if you enroll and do not change your elections, they will remain intact until you login to NetBenefits and make a change. Commuter Account orders must be placed by the 10th of the month to be effective for the following month. For example, if you want to use the plan in the month of January, you must make your elections by December 10.
